My Book Reviews.

Spider bite is about a boy named Jordan who got a funnel web spider bite in a in Australia.
I didn't really like this book because I'm not into the kind of stuff that's in this book and this book was boring to me, but I did like how the people in the story were in a hot air balloon flying over Australia.
Spider bite was written by Justin D'Ath. I think my step brother Justin would like this book because he likes stuff to do with spiders. Eruption of Mt Tarawera 10 June 1886.

The eruption of Mt Tarawera was on my birthday, but was 119 years before I was actually born. Mt- Tarawera is in the bay of plenty. The eruption of Mt Tarawera covered up the pink and white terraces which used to be New Zealand's most famous tourist attraction,  sometimes known as the Eighth Wonder of the World. I think it would of been awesome to be at the pink and white terraces, Id like to swim in them.

Heart good quote.

If you look at the right side of my blog you will see a quote. This quote inspires me because when I look at this quote it makes my heart feel good inside of me. I also like it because it has a little pig and I think thats how I turn small things into big things. I think it means try to think about the things that matter and make them bigger in your heart.

Week 5 term 2

This week I had Monday off school. My cloze this week was about the Titanic, I was interested about the Titanic. On Wednesday the bus was late because it broke down, so I was late for school, it was fun being late to school. I had to wait for ages for the bus to pick me up.

Term 2 week 3.

This week I have been using a note pad to help me with my feelings at school and I write in it after every subject. This week on Friday is when the school celebrates Mothers Day and my Mum{Vanessa} always comes. Here is a photo of me and Mum.

 

My Week At School.

This week we had Monday off school because of ANZAC weekend. This week for art with Mrs Barker, my art group drew houses to get ideas for lino. We found different houses on the internet and had to draw them onto paper. My cloze was about whales and it was interesting.I didn't know much about whales. I learned that whales travel in a herd.
 

weapons and vehicles at war 1

 During World War 1 soldiers used weapons like cannons to shoot shells of chemical gases into other trenches. Soldiers used other weapons during World War. The soldiers also used vehicles like tanks and Military Airplanes and submarines. William Ham was the 1st New Zealander to die in World War 1.

Camp

My team went to Totara Springs for camp. I participated in nearly everything. we went to camp for 3 days and 2 nights. My favourite things were the go cart and the flying fox.

My Art

This is my eel art and thats me doing it. I do it every Thursday with Mrs Barker but I do it in a big group and we do our own one. Mrs Barker is teaching us to shade with pastel and I've done two other pieces of shading. The last one I did didn't turn out too good. I love doing art with Mrs.B on Thursday.
