My 2015 maths review.

My 2015 high jump video.

This video is me training for high jump for athletics 2015. My best jump is around 1/2 of a meter high. I find it hard to jump. High jump is my second favourite activity in athletics. My goal is to get 1 meter high.

My iDrive activity term 4 week e.

For iDrive this week I did lego with, Callum, Logan, Neo and Jesse. We made lego mining machines. I made a big machine that cleans all the jewels from the mine. The creation took a long time to make, it was hard but fun to make. The learning powers I used were Being Me, Connecting and Creativity. What I liked the most was working with people I don't really work with. Here are some pitchers.

Labour Day

Labour Day is a public holiday.  Back in the 1800's people used to work a lot longer than eight hours a day. A man named Samuel Parnell refused to work more than eight hours a day. He encouraged other people to work only eight hours a day. Labour Day is in October, but it does not have a solid date, but it is on the fourth Monday. People get to have a day to do what ever they want and no work or school, unless you work at a hospital.

Term 3 reflection.

My term three reflection.

Learning in the making conference 2015.

Learning in the Making Conference 2015. In the first session we did the roll and then got our mini timetable. Then we went to Marama and skyped someone. {I forgot who we skyped}. He talked about cyber safety. Then at about 10 '0' clock I went to a work shop and in that work shop,
Miss Sixsmith taught us how to make finger puppets and I made an Angry Bird. I needed a lot off help to make it. Then it was the first tea-break.

In the next session I cooked hot-dog pasta with Miss Williams. What we had to do is boil a pot of water. Then we cut up the hot-dogs into quarters and stuck dry spaghetti into the quarters.Once the water had boiled, we put in the quarters of the hot-dogs into the boiled water. Once it was cooked we put on the sauce and then we ate it for lunch.

In the third session I went to a work shop with my old art teacher called Mrs Keane and we made badges with fabric. I made mine the shape of a 'D' and stuck on a button. I also needed a lot of help with this as well. I wore mine for the rest of the day. Then it was the second tea-break.

In the last session I did  science with Mrs Barker and we had to pick up a paper clip with copper wire, one battery and a nail, but we could not tie or loop anything to the paper clip! I'm not going to tell you how to do it, because I want to see if you can do it. I had a very fun day.




















  

Idrive

This week for idrive Daniel, Cooper, Nesta, Fraser, Callum, Noah, Miles, Marcus and I did Lego.  Our learning powers were Connecting and Creativity. We had a few augments, but we managed to solve them and we also had to make changes along the way. It was really hard. It was fun working with people I don't really work with. Here is a picture of what we built.

Princess Diana

Princess Diana was born on July 1, 1961. Princess Diana married Prince Charles on 29 July 1981. Princess Diana was the first wife of Prince Charles. Prince Charles mum was Queen Elizabeth. Princess Diana was called The people's Princess because she understood people and wanted to be treated just like a normal person. Her sons names are Prince William and Prince Harry. Princess Diana was killed in a car crash in, August 31 1997. That means Princess Diana died at the age of 36 years old. That is a short life for Princess Diana. Here is  a pitcher of Princess Diana.  

Idrive

This week for iDrive Kurt, Neo, Joshua and  did role play.  The main idea about our play was, an old lady pretended to need help for every thing, but when she flew out of the car windscreen, she had to give payback by getting some one from the gang to go out the windscreen. Our learning powers was creativity and connecting. We had to plan out how the role play was going to go. We had some augments because we did not agree with each other. In the end it was fun to work with each other. We had to problem solve. Here are some photos.  

Book Review.

   

The year my life broke is a book about cricket.The main character is Josh. Josh and his family moved to Tarawarga and Josh went to a new school. At that school in Tarawarga where Josh played cricket. Josh made a friend called Callan. Together they built a tree house near Josh's house. On a scale from one to ten I recommend it being five. Here is a picture of The year my life broke.

I-drive this week.

This week for i-drive Charlie and I made a town with blocks. Charlie and I had to communicate to each other and problem solve and this is what it turned out like. It was hard to balance the blocks on each other. Charlie and I had lots of fun and we did not argue at each other. We were very proud of each other. :-)                                                 

My 2nd school holiday

At the end of term 2 on Friday the 3/7/2015 my Nana took me home to her house and I stayed five days. On Saturday I and Nana made fried bread. At night time I and Nana watched Horten here's a who. On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday me and Nana played games and baked. On Wednesday I went home.At home I had drawn pitchers, reed books and played games. On the last weekend of the holidays I went back to my Nana's house and we watched  Garfield 2. I had a fun holiday. :)

My Term Reivew

This term I got into celebration once . My class did lino cuts and this was fun and we had to get a little help from our smart teachers Mrs Barker, Mrs Heaven, Mrs.M and Miss Sixsmith.
Next term I'm going to try harder to get into celebration more often, I'm also going to try to get a certificate.

My Book Reviews.

Spider bite is about a boy named Jordan who got a funnel web spider bite in a in Australia.
I didn't really like this book because I'm not into the kind of stuff that's in this book and this book was boring to me, but I did like how the people in the story were in a hot air balloon flying over Australia.
Spider bite was written by Justin D'Ath. I think my step brother Justin would like this book because he likes stuff to do with spiders. I give this book a 4 out of 10.
